Overview:
Visionary Veterans invites you to reconnect with yourself, the land, and the collective spirit through a transformative weekend deep in nature's embrace. Set against the lush backdrop of Ichetucknee Springs and the Santa Fe River, this sacred gathering offers a chance to heal, grow, and journey in harmony with the rhythms of the earth. It's designed to help you break free from the chaos of modern life and return to a grounded, authentic way of being. Open to veterans and friends. Adults- 18+
What to Expect:
Multiple Springs Excursions: Including an outdoor adventure through pristine waters on the Santa Fe with a six-hour guided kayak tour, followed by a soak in the calming Ichetucknee Springs, nature immersion, hiking, sunshine, fireflies and more. Immerse yourself in the peaceful tranquility of nature- healing with water.
Wellness: Experience transformative healing through wellness coaching with Veteran facilitators, magnet and sound therapy, nervous system hacks, daily movement, along with an optional “steam bath” or traditional Temazcal on Sunday evening led by a veteran facilitator and moon dancer. Full moon bonfire ceremony to release and renew. Some healing services are FREE for veterans. Healthy meals from local farmers, businesses and healthy venues.
Campfire & Community: Share stories, laughter, and good food around a cozy bonfire. This weekend is all about fostering meaningful connections and rejuvenating your spirit through community and camaraderie. Come meet and be a part of the Visionary Veteran community and connect with other like-minded people.
Camping: Enjoy a true immersion into nature with tent camping under the stars. Please bring your own camping gear and essentials for a 2-night/3-day stay. We will be staying at a local campground. It has tent camping, cabin camping, RV and van camping options. Venue has full bathroom, power, water, firepit and grill, with washer/dryer access. Venue also has small camp store and covered pavillion for our Sunday Bunch potluck.

In efforts to keep our prices low, we're offering basic camping or cabin options (cabins will be an extra fee) with 3 meals and potluck options.
Meals: Two dinners will be provided and the kayak trip lunch, along with a Sunday brunch potluck. Feel free to bring something to share, and don't forget to bring healthy snacks and water for your kayaking adventure. Breakfast is generally a community potluck, so it's a collaborative experience. Venue has small camp store.

8:30 AM - 10:00 AM: Community Potluck breakfast & Mindful Morning Reflections/stretching/drawing.
11:00 AM - 4:00 PM: Guided 6-Hour Kayak Trip through Santa Fe River w/picnic.
4:00 PM - 5:30 PM: Rest & Relaxation / Wellness Services
5:30 PM - 7:00 PM: Dinner & Group Reflection
7:00 PM - 9:30 PM: Full Moon Bonfire Gathering and Activities
10:00 PM: Quiet Time / Reflection
Sunday, April 13th - Adventure & Connection

5:00 PM- 8:00 PM: Optional temazcal (Sweat lodge) at nearby venue- Suggested donation, $30-40.
This schedule balances relaxation, adventure, and wellness practices, allowing participants to connect with nature, each other, and themselves throughout the weekend. 3 Community meals and daily potluck breakfasts, camping, Springs visits, a 6-hour guided paddle tour are included, alongside opportunities for healing and connection in the veteran community.
